What does the future hold for technological advancements in the construction industry? Why is it important for companies to embrace and embed digital transformation as an intrinsic part of their DNA and culture?
Chief Operating Officer of Meinhardt Singapore, Eugene Seah, expounded on these salient topics in his keynote address at the 2023 The Singapore Contractors Association Ltd (SCAL) Technology Symposium which was held in collaboration with BuildTech Asia 2023 at the Singapore Expo (Hall 3) on 29 March.
Using heartwarming examples and references from his personal life and experiences, Eugene kept the audience – comprising the delegates of BuildTech Asia 2023 and professionals from the built environment sector – raptured and listening intently to his presentation.
In his concluding remarks, which serves as a fitting reminder, Eugene urged companies to let digital technology, sustainability and decarbonisation initiatives become their “unconscious consciousness” so that their workers will be more willing to embrace and adopt these imperatives.
